At ADAM & Mila we collect and help people to discover some of the most amazing Baby & Toddler Learning Activities from the best bloggers around the web.
We proudly curate this amazing collection, but we don’t produce the works – we rely on the support of our awesome community of contributors.
We often reach out to great bloggers who have published particularly fun, unique and educational activities to ask permission to feature them on ADAM & Mila.
We also are very happy to receive recommendations from people who would like their content featured on ADAM & Mila. See below for details.
What to expect as a Contributor
We do our utmost to make the experience of contributing to ADAM & Mila a great one. That’s why we have certain principles we follow for all contributions.
Always Consensual: We will only feature activities for which the content owner has given clear consent.
The Content Stays on your Blog: We will always link directly to the original content on your blog. We will write an ultra-short teaser/summary based on your content, and we will feature 1 image from your blog.
YouTube Videos: If your content is a video on YouTube we will not link to YouTube, instead we will embed the video to be seen directly on our site – and we will make a clear link to your blog.
Our Editorial Privilege: You cannot simply share your activity on ADAM & Mila, you can only recommend it to us. We review all submissions and only chose the best and most relevant ones to be featured. Less than half of all submission are featured – if yours is not we will let you know why.
Full Satisfaction: If for whatever reason your are less than fully satisfied with the way your content is featured on ADAM & Mila let us know by email to email hidden; JavaScript is required we will do all we can to make you happy, or should you prefer we will remove your activity from our site.
How We Give Back
Our community is very important to us! We try to give as much as we can back to the great bloggers who contribute to ADAM & Mila. Mainly we try to get as many people as possible to see your original content on your own blog. Here is how we do that.
Featured in multiple relevant locations: Your activity will be featured in several places throughout adam-mila.com. It will be discoverable through search based on age, keywords, developmental milestones and other factors. Your activity will be featured in our guides wherever it is relevant. New activities are featured for a while on our front page.
SEO Boost for your original content: Our website has been highly optimized according to Google Webmaster Guidelines. We link directly to both your original content and your blog’s homepage. The links we use are “do follow” meaning we tell Google that this is an important link. You will get a few links from various pages on adam-mila.com, always from within a highly relevant context. For content on your own blog which does not already feature highly in google this can create a significant boost, as well as your blog homepage will get a small boost.
Pinned on Pinterest: As part of our review process, if you activity is selected to be featured on our site we will also share your original content from your own blog with our followers on Pinterest.
Evergreen Stream of Readers: Unlike facebook or twitter where the effect of sharing your blog post will quickly diminish you can expect a small but continuous stream of readers coming from ADAM & Mila. This has to do with the way we featured your activity in many different places (more places if you activity collects a lot of interest from our readers).
